Social Bookmarking Top Sites User Reviews

In the old days, bookmarks were just a way for us to return to sites that we wanted to remember.  Over the years Internet Explorer and FireFox have improved on this tool as an integrated part of our web browsing experience.  But after my computer crashed several times I’ve learned never to rely on them.  Because when your hard drive goes, so does the months of information you’ve worked hard to accumulate.  And I don’t know about you, but I consider my bookmarks worth thousands of dollars to me- the information is invaluable.

That is why I was excited when Google came out with their bookmark version.  Never again would I have to rely on my hard drive to protect my most treasured asset.  Plus I can now access my bookmarks from any computer with internet access and I can browse dozens of websites with one click.  See demo below.

But now with the whole social media buzz bookmarks are about sharing information.  And sadly, that is were Google Bookmarks fall short (at least as of this writing).  So I’ve been doing some research for a social bookmarking site that I could swap bookmarks with other like minded individuals.  In my opinion bookmarks are the most relevant search engine.  There is a ton of information out there and bookmarks allow for people to sort out the garbage.

Especial in our industry of real estate investing.  There is tons of information out there about how to find buyers, how to find sells, and how to find private money.  Some of it is fluff, others is just one big sales pitch for a real estate investing course, but some of it is actual “meat and potatoes” (hard hitting) content on real estate investing.

So below I’ve “bookmarked” a few sites to help you sort through the garbage of this whole social bookmarking buzz.    Now there are the dominate sites like Delicious and Digg, but there are also hundreds of others! So below are several articles to social bookmarking top sites user reviews.  Like I always say, try ‘em all and stick with the best.

In the comments section I’ll also be giving some reviews from my own personal experience, so feel free to join in the conversation!
